Instructions for obtaining Drug Screen:

A drug screen is
required for you to participate in a clinical/ externship at our facility.

The cost of
this is up to the student to cover.
·
The student may go to any laboratory and get a drug
screen.
o
Students may
get their drug screen at the Dukes RediMed, which is
located on the Grissom Aeroplex. Their phone number
is 765- 689-0071. No appointment is needed.
o
Hours of
operation are Mon.- Fri. 7am- 5pm, and Sat. 10am –
4pm. The cost at the Redi Med is $24.00. Results are
usually available within 3 minutes unless there is evidence of a positive then
it is sent to lab and the results are available within 48-72 hours.

Should you present to Dukes Memorial Hospital
Laboratory, you will be referred to the Dukes RediMed.

The results are
to be directly sent by the lab to the Human Resources Department at

At the written
request of the student,

In the event
the student has completed a drug screen for a previous clinical, within the
last two years, a copy of that drug screen would meet the requirement.
·
The Drug Screen
is required to be completed and the results available at our facility prior to
the start of clinicals.
