Please try to arrive to campus one day before the start of the New International Student Orientation. At the beginning of orientation, you will check-in and visit with a foreign student advisor. The advisor will make copies of your documents and register your arrival. During the orientation, you will attend mandatory seminars about maintaining good immigration status, and discuss finances, employment, and insurance as they pertain to international students. The campus tour will familiarize you with your new surroundings, public transportation, and local stores and restaurants. During the tour your guide will also discuss academic life at Indiana University.
The orientation staff will provide assistance and answer your questions about all orientation events and any other questions you may have. If you have any questions about Indiana University Kokomo and the orientation event, feel free to send an email to cibarnes@iuk.edu.
