The IT Advisory Committee consists of members from various academic and administrative departments who help to determine IT strategies that support the overall mission of Indiana University Kokomo.
The mission of the IT advisory committee is to:
Assist in the preparation and updating of the IU Kokomo Technology Plan;
Help establish policies for IU Kokomo's computing standards, including the development of a Computer User's Policy statement;
Assist in formulating policy related to information and instructional technologies;
Help establish policies and strategies for computer support and training in classrooms and laboratories;
Serve as an advisory committee for the use of information technology in teaching, for research, and in professional service; and
Provide input for the information technology planning and budgeting process.
