TRANSITION to TEACHING

The Transition to Teaching Program is offered via a consortium with Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and designed for persons who:

        *     Hold a bachelor's or advanced degree from a regionally accedited college or university.

        *     Are committed to helping urban youth.  At IUPUI, students learn first hand how problems like poverty, racism, violence, and lack of resources complicate the job of teaching.  They also learn to appreciate the richness of diversity  and community resources available to the schools.
