Veteran Educational Benefit Programs

Most veteran educational benefit programs (including the Montgomery GI Bill and the Veterans Educational Assistance Program) are not technically financial aid programs. They are instead benefits that veterans earn by serving their country.

To self-certify your monthly verification of attendance with the VA, you can go to www.gibill.va.gov to access WAVE (Web Automated Verification of Enrollment). If you do not have Internet access, you can call (877) 823-2378 to verify your monthly attendance.

It is the responsibility of individuals desiring benefits under the Montgomery GI Bill to submit a copy of their class schedule, according to the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid’s policy, every time they register, drop, add, or change their class schedule. A class schedule is available at OneStart. Include your name, student ID number, and Social Security Number.
