Many Library electronic resources including databases, journals and books are accessible from off campus with an Indiana University Kokomo Network ID. In order to access these electronic resources you must:
- Have an Indiana University Kokomo Network username and password. Only authorized Indiana University students, staff, faculty and administrators may apply for and receive Network access. To apply for access please follow instructions outlined on the IT Account Management Web page.
- Have an Internet Service Provider (ISP) connection from your off campus location
There are three ways you can remotely access the Library electronic resources.
- While using the Indiana University Kokomo Library Web page if you click on a link which requires Network ID access the Indiana University Kokomo Library EZ-Proxy Server Web page will prompt you to provide your username and password prior to opening the link.
- Login directly to the EZ-Proxy Server Web page using your Indiana University Kokomo Network username and password and select the database from the Databases A-Z list.
- Set up a VPN, Virtual Private Network, on your computer. Search the IU Knowledge Base for “VPN” and choose the instructions needed for your computer’s operating system.
