About the Programs
The Indiana University Kokomo School of Nursing is dedicated to the education of caring and scientifically trained nurse professionals. IU Kokomo's nursing programs are fully accredited by the Indiana State Board of Nursing, and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The Bachelor of Science degree in nursing prepares the professional nurses with a broad knowledge of nursing, the humanities, and biological and social sciences. As a student in the program, you'll learn to function as a beginning nurse in all health care settings, and you'll receive a strong foundation for leadership positions as well as for graduate study in nursing. In addition, the IU Kokomo School of Nursing also offers a transition program that enables the registered nurse to earn the B.S.N. degree.
