About IU Kokomo

Indiana University Kokomo serves an 11-county area in north central Indiana bringing quality education to area residents. You can earn an Indiana University degree close to home with many advantages:

  • Outstanding academic programs: Select from more than 35 degrees and certificates including bachelor's, master's, and associate degrees. IU Kokomo is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.

  • Personal attention: Enjoy small classes (most IU Kokomo classes have 25 or fewer students) and a student/faculty ratio of 14 to 1. Professors get to know their students on a first-name basis and are available for individual consultation outside the classroom.

  • Highly qualified faculty: More than 80 percent of the full-time faculty have doctoral degrees or the highest degree offered in their field. Many professors are nationally recognized for their teaching, research, and scholarship.

  • Affordable costs: You can attend full time for four years for less than it costs to go one year at many universities. Tuition, fees, and books for one semester for a full-time student cost approximately $2,942 (for five courses or 15 credit hours). Annual cost for two semesters is $5,884.

  • Financial aid: IU Kokomo awards more than $5.7 million in scholarships, grants, and loans to students each year.

  • Flexibility: Arrange a class schedule that fits your needs, choosing from more than 250 classes each semester, including day, evening, and weekend classes.
