Digital Media Center Instruction
Users who need assistance with using equipment or software in the Digital Media Center should contact the Computer Services Helpdesk via one of several methods: users may visit the Helpdesk located on the first floor of the Library, next to the Ask A Librarian desk; or they may visit the IT Support Center located on the second floor of the Library. Users may also email the IT Support Center at kohelp@iuk.edu. Additional contact information may be found on the Information Technology Department's Website.
Individual or small-group tutoring services are also available through the IT Center. To learn more about these services, visit the Tutoring Services Web page. Online tutorials for using specific equipment, as well as for topics such as creating podcasts, can be found on the "How to..." - Self Tutorials page.
Video tutorials for software packages (such as Adobe Production Premium and Adobe After Effects) are available for all IU students and faculty from Lynda.com. Visit the IT Training & Education page for more information on accessing these video tutorials.
The Library also offers information technology and technical books through an online e-book resource called Books24x7. Students and faculty may access this resource from the Library home page, then by clicking the Databases tab located on the Library search box, and then by selecting "B" to locate Books24x7. Please Ask a Librarian if you need help finding or using this resource.
