Collection Development
The materials and information resources found in the IU Kokomo Library reflect the mission of the library to support the University's academic curriculum. The objective of the library is to build a quality collection of books, periodicals, media, and online resources that reinforces the academic programs and course assignments at Indiana University Kokomo.
Collection priorities are reviewed annually, and high priority is given to types of resources that are identified by the Library Dean and Library Faculty as materials that should be acquired in order to support new campus objectives, as well as maintain a relevant and current collection. The library also places special emphasis on purchasing resources with global or diverse content, since such resources strengthen the library's collection by adding depth to the resources the library currently provides to support the University's curriculum.

Order Materials for the Library Collection
The library welcomes suggestions for library materials that will support the University's academic programs or course assignments. See our Ordering Library Materials page for more information. Technical Services Contact Information
You may contact someone in the Technical Services department if you have a question. The Technical Services department is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m to 5 p.m.
Contact Ria Lukes with questions concerning acquisitions or new orders, as well as questions concerning cataloging and deselection issues. Questions pertaining to government publications or to the administration of the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) should also be addressed to Ria Lukes.
Contact Janine Stanley for questions concerning the status of new orders and for bindery questions.
Contact Angie Thorpe for technical questions relating to electronic resources, for access problems dealing with the EZproxy server or Look for it, and to report broken links to electronic resources.
