Bachelor of Arts in Humanities

Student at Commencement

By earning a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, you will be prepared to pursue a special interest in one or more subjects within the humanities and explore the relationships between various subjects within the humanities.  You’ll also be able to continue studies and embark on graduate or professional study, or develop analytical and expressive skills to use in any number of careers.

Because the B.A. in Humanities includes few required courses, you will be free to select advanced courses that reflect personal or professional interests.  Because this degree has a lot of flexibility about what courses you take to complete the B.A. requirements it’s important to work with your academic advisor as well as with the faculty mentor for the Humanities BA to create a plan of study to map out how you will complete the degree requirements.

If you have any questions about the Humanities B.A. please contact the faculty mentor, Netty Provost at nprovost@iuk.edu

A variety of Humanities Minors are also available.
