New Media Communication Core--Required of All New Media Majors
Required: All students earning a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in New Media Communication must take:
- NMCM N201 Introduction to New Media Communication (3 cr.)
- NNCM N215 Digital Studio (3 cr.)
- NMCM N401 Senior Seminar (3 cr.)
- NMCM N411 New Media Theory (3 cr.)
New Media Communication Concentration Areas
Web Design Concentration
Required: All students earning a Web Design concentration must take FINA F102 2D Design.
Concentration electives: Students earning the BA degree must also take their choice of 4 of the following courses. Students earning the BS must also take their choice of 6 of the following courses:
- NMCM N213 Web Design and Development (3 cr.)
- NMCM N245 Intro to Web Site Design Principles and Practice (Extensible Markup Language) (3 cr.)
- NMCM N262 Introduction to Web Scripting (3 cr.)
- NMCM N345 Intermediate Web Site Design Principles and Practice (Content Management Systems and Information Architecture) (3 cr.)

Graphic Design Concentration
Required: All students earning a Graphic Design concentration must take:

- NMCM N211 Typography (3 cr.)
Concentration electives: Students earning the BA degree must also take their choice of 4 of the following courses. Students earning the BS must also take their choice of 6 of the following courses:
