Institutional Review Board (IRB) Resources at IU Kokomo

Researchers, especially who are involved for the first time with the IRB process are encouraged to contact the IRB to be assigned a liaison from the IU Kokomo Institutional Board who will assist in the development of the project.

How Do I Know if My Project Needs IRB Approval?

Human Subjects Tutorial and CITI Certification tests   This is a link to the required IU certification course and test. Every investigator must pass this test regarding protection of human subjects in research. Complete instructions may be found on the certification website.  Log in [YES] at bottom of page.  If doing Social/Behavioral research, select: Social/Behavioral Research, STAGE 1.
