With a Journalism degree from the University of Iowa, Kent became a writer, film producer, strategist, and creative director. He worked at large agencies like Leo Burnett Co. and small businesses like Kauffycan, his own consulting firm. He mentored many young marketing and creative people, as well as taught high school communications classes. He has three grown children, all of whom have earned an IU degree.
Tammy graduated from IU Kokomo with a double major in Business Administration and Accounting. She knows the adjustment to a new environment and a university culture can sometimes be intimidating and overwhelming. Students may also lack skills in time management, organization, and prioritizing. She helps students identify their obstacles and develop strategies to become successful college graduates.
Dana earned her bachelor's degree in Spanish Education from Winona State University and her master's degree in Spanish from Saint Louis University in Madrid, Spain. After teaching high school students for six years, Dana realized that her true passion lies in helping college students find their place and purpose, on campus and in the "real world". The thing she loves most about her job as a Coach is parterning with students to help them realize the potential they have in themselves through coaching conversations. Carole began her college experience as a traditional-aged student, re-entered as the mother of a young baby – three different times – and finally completed her degree as a grandmother. Along the way, she learned time management and prioritization skills which led to college success. Carole is eager to assist students in overcoming obstacles so that earning a college degree can become a reality.
