Karla Farmer Stouse, M.A.
Senior Lecturer of English and Humanities

I teach a variety of English and Humanities classes (composition, creative writing, medical terminology, literature, travel study, and the leadership capstone). I also lead students in The Innovation Symposium, a course that focuses on innovation in philanthropy, environment, and technology; after studying in England for three weeks, the students develop individual projects that address global issues on a local level.

My view of education is summarized well in this Geoffrey Chaucer paraphrase:

"And gladly would she learn, and gladly teach."
