Kim Mossburg,  M.S., R.D., L.D.N., A.T.C.
Lecturer in Nutritional Science

Foundations of nutrition and health are integral components of patient education. My background has been in physical education, dietetics and athletic training. I teach the nutrition and dietetics classes, as well as several health-related courses and am currently a certified athletic trainer and registered dietitian.

Current society needs have built patterns of health which need changed. This has been evidenced by the significant rise in non-communicable disease. It is my goal to put programs in place in the University in order to make a positive impact towards change. Since food and activity are an integral part of our lives, taking measures which enhance good health will drive down the rates of non-communicable disease.
