Library Resources for Visitors

The IU Kokomo Library offers a number of resources to our visitors. We welcome Indiana residents who would like to use materials from our library.

Borrower Cards

The Indiana Resident Library Card Application Policy outlines the guidelines for acquiring an Indiana Resident (INRE) Borrower's Card.

Application forms are available at the Circulation Desk, or you may download and print the applicable form(s) listed below.

  • Application form for Borrower's Card for Indiana Residents, 18 Years of Age and Older
  • Application form for Borrower's Card for Indiana Residents, 16 and 17 Years of Age

A Borrower Card will allow you to check out materials available within the Indiana University Kokomo Library. Please check the library's Circulation Policies and Loan Periods and Fine Schedule for details.

Off Campus Access

The public may browse the library's collection or search for specific materials by using IUCAT, the online public access catalog for all IU Libraries. The library homepage features a link to the Kokomo campus view of IUCAT. For additional details on how to use IUCAT, see our Get Started with Research page, or ask a librarian.

Members of the public may search the full catalog from anywhere, but any resources labeled as Online Resource are only available on campus.

On Campus Access

The IU Kokomo Library offers members of the public full access to our online resources through Computer Guest Accounts. To better understand both the resources you might access with a Computer Guest Account and how to best use such resources, see Research Resources for Library Visitors.
