Humanities
The Bachelor of Arts in Humanities is a four-year undergraduate degree for students who wish to pursue a special interest in one or more humanities disciplines, prepare for graduate or professional study, or develop analytical and expressive skills valuable in many careers. Because the major includes no required courses, the student is free to select advanced courses that reflect personal or professional interests, with the assistance of a faculty advisor. Students can choose minors in creative arts, folklore, philosophy, Spanish, or women's studies.
Careers
Graduates with a humanities degree have a broad liberal arts background that is valuable in many careers requiring analytical and communication skills. Many humanities graduates continue their education in graduate or professional studies.
