  • Did you know that at birth, a baby’s brain already has 100 billion cells and, unlike the rest of a baby’s body, the brain is not complete?  In order to promote healthy brain development, infants and young children need the interaction of caring and qualified adults.  The B.S. in Early Childhood Education can prepare you for this challenging role.

  • Earning the B.S. in Early Childhood Education will make you eligible for a license to teach preschool and kindergarten through 3rd grade. You’ll learn about child development, teaching principles, and curriculum development focused on how young children learn. From freshman through senior year, you can participate in field experiences in a variety of classroom settings. Learn more here.
