Student Overseas Trip to Italy
Students from two IU Kokomo courses studied Italian culture and art and traveled to Italy in the summer of 2007. Eighteen students and eight community members joined Minda Douglas and Donna McLean on the overseas trip. The participants traveled to Rome, Florence, Pisa, Siena, and Pompeii. They visited many sites including: the Colesseum and Roman Forum, the Vatican, the lost city of Pompeii, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Uffizzi Museum, the Accademia, and many other churches, historic sites, and museums.
