Opening Reception: Sunday, September 28, 2-4 p.m.
Artist Presentation: 3:30 p.m.
The exhibit features a dazzling display of aesthetic based glass works by six local and regional artists: Michael Amis, Arlon Bayliss, Fred Difrenzi, Lori Stolt, Jon Wolfe, and Michael Zelenka.
The exhibit also features an education corner focusing on the history of the Kokomo Opalescent Glass Co. and KOG Hot Glass Studio and process of various glass techniques.
John Lind, a local photographer has a display of his artistic and documentary photographs inspired by the Kokomo Opalescent Glass Co. and KOG Hot Glass Studio.
Collaborative tours with the Kokomo Opalescent Glass Company are being scheduled. Call Minda Douglas at 455-9523 for reservations.

Biennial IU Kokomo Juried Exhibition
A juried exhibition of regional artists within a 70 mile radius of Kokomo. The Exhibition includes 73 works. The media represented in the exhibition include: oil, watercolor, acrylic, drawing, ceramics, glass, sculpture, photography, digital prints, printmaking, and various mixed media pieces. Some 3-dimensional works incorporate, felt, rubber, wax, and gourds!
The artists live in a variety of cities in north central Indiana including: Hartford City, Tipton, Noblesville, Lafayette, Indianapolis, Kendallville, Kokomo, Fort Wayne, Carmel, Muncie, Brownsburg, Russiaville, Peru, Fishers, Marion, West Lafayette, Selma, Greenfield, Battle Ground, Beech Grove, Clayton, Arcadia, and Templeton.
Juror Information:
Charles Gick is Associate Professor of Visual and Performing Arts at Purdue University; specializing in painting, drawing, and installation. Gick has his M.F.A. from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, in painting and his B.F.A. from Kansas City, Art Institute, Kansas City, MO, in painting and printmaking.
