Management Information Systems (MIS) Concentration
General Description
The MIS concentration is designed for students interested in the field of management information systems who are aiming at careers as system developers, systems analysts, database administrators, information systems oriented management consultants, e-commerce professionals, IT project managers, or software quality managers. The curriculum in the concentration includes key courses such as Data Management and Systems Analysis and Design. The focus of the MIS concentration is to prepare students to understand, analyze, implement, evaluate, and integrate information technologies (IT) to harness cross-functional synergies in business environments.
