The Office of Career Services helps students find employment during college and after graduation by:
- Helping students develop credentials such as their résumé, references, and cover letters
- Providing information about job openings through fliers, bulletin board notices, and other internal communications
- Bringing employers to campus for job interviews during the academic year
Our resources include:
- Career Library and Resource Center
- Posting of employment opportunities
- Educational interest tests (available for a nominal fee)
- Arranging job-shadow experiences with local employers
- Meetings with the Manager of Career Services (by appointment) to discuss careers. These resources are open to students, alumni, and those who live in IU Kokomo's 11-county service area.

As a part of the Student Development and Campus Life (SDCL) department, the Office of Career Services works hard to assist our students and graduates with a successful academic experience. The mission of SDCL is "dedicated to the personal and professional growth and development of the students of Indiana University Kokomo. Our department is committed to complementing the mission and commitments of IU Kokomo. Educational attainment is done by creating out-of-class practical learning opportunities for students." To help us achieve this goal, we conduct an annual assessment on a service or event offered through the office. This assessment is done as a part of our aim for continuous improvement in offering quality functions and events.
