Career Counseling and Professional Development Services
The Office of Career Services offers a range of assistance that covers topics such as career counseling, career planning, résumé/cover letter development, and job-search assistance for all Indiana University Kokomo and Purdue Univesity College of Technology Kokomo students and alumni. All of our services offered also extend to those considering attendingour campus. From the first semester to the last - and beyond, the Office of Career Services can help with the professional development process.
Our office also surveys each graduating class to determine their employment status approximately 3 - 6 months after leaving IU Kokomo. The results currently posted are from the December 2005 - August 2006 graduating class. The IU Kokomo and Purdue College of Technology Graduate Employment Survey is a resource that can contribute to the decisions our current and prospective students use when determining their professional path. It reports information ranging from the number of graduates in that major to how many miles they drive to work each day.

If you would like to learn more about salary earnings for your particular occupation of interest, Indiana Workforce Development has a website that will provide you with that information. The Occupational Employment Survey (OES) Employment & Wage Survey Report, developed by Indiana Workforce Development, lists 2006 employment and wage data for occupations in Indiana. The actual salary information begins on page 3 of the report.
