Assessment Consultations

The Assistant Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs consults with faculty, as requested, to support planning and implementing program assessments and general education assessments.

The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (CTLA) consults with faculty, as requested, to support planning and implementing both summative and formative course-level assessment. Summative refers to student evaluation and grading purposes. Formative refers to informally self-monitoring faculty effectiveness in teaching by assessing when students are learning. It usually uses non-graded and anonymous indicators.Please contact Kathy Ross or Chérie Dodd with questions or to schedule a consultation.

Institutional Research handles institutional level data for assessment and administers the campus Survey Policy. Please contact Sharon Calhoon with questions or to schedule a consultation.
