This newly recognized student organization, meshEd, is funded through Student Activities.  The budget is submitted and approved via Student Government.  Persons interested in junior high/middle/secondary licensure are encouraged to participate.

Mission

At Indiana University Kokomo, students may obtain their grades 5-12 licensure in one of four content areas: Mathematics, English, Science (Chemisty, Physics, Physical Science, Earth/Space Science, or Life Science), and History (History, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, or Economics).  It is the goal of meshEd to work together to represent the interests of all four content areas, as well as Education. meshEd plans events, workshops, and coordinates speakers to supplement the Education classes offered by IU Kokomo.

  Dan McCaulley, an experienced Social Studies teacher from  
  Maconaquah Middle School and Matt Bunn, a first year  
  English teacher from Kokomo High School shared  
  teaching strategies.  
     
November 3 PROJECT WILD 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
