Requirements for Minor in English Literature

The minor consists of 15 credit hours in literature including:

1. ENG   L202   Literary Interpretation (3 cr.)
2. One of the following:
   • ENG  E301   Literatures in English to 1600 (3 cr.)
   • ENG  E302   Literatures in English 1600-1800 (3 cr.)
   • ENG  E303   Literatures in English 1800-1900 (3 cr.)
   • ENG  E304   Literatures in English 1900-Present (3 cr.)
   • ENG   L297   English Literature to 1600 (3 cr.)
   • ENG   L298   English Literature from 1600-1800 (3 cr.)
   • ENG   L299   English Literature since 1800 (3 cr.)
3. Three 3-credit 200- to 400-level electives (prefixes L or E).
4. At least one course has to be taken at the 300 level. At least 9 credit hours of the above courses must be taken at IU Kokomo.
