Colloquia & Internships

Colloquia:

By definition, a colloquium is an academic seminar addressing a broad field of study. Typically, it is lead by different instructors at each session and the topic changes each session. Here, you will find topic and instructor information for the current and upcoming semesters, if known. Remember, any Honors Degree requires two colloquia be completed before graduation.

Internships - Fall 2008

Internships provide an excellent opportunity for Honors students to pursue work in area of study in which they might excel or have a special interest. Students gain practical experience, improve their résumés, and sharpen communication skills.

The senior thesis gives students an opportunity to refine and complete a research project on some special area of interest, typically one begun in another course.
