Overseas Study Classes Offered Through IU Kokomo

In 2007, IU Kokomo will be offering a number of international/overseas study options:       

In Summer One 2007:

Nursing Division will offer:

  • K433 KOREAN CULTURE and HEALTHCARE PRACTICUM (2 CR)

This course will involve travel to Korea to study at the Margaret Pritchard University for 1-2 weeks.

School of Arts and Sciences will offer through Humanities:

  • FINA-A 200 TOPICS IN ART HISTORY (3 CR) VT: Foreign Study in Italian Art
    This course will involve travel to Italy--leaving May 28 until June 5, 2007. Students require permission to register for the class. Class closes February 15, 2007.
  • SPCH-S 302/D511 RHETORIC AND SOCIETY (3 CR) VT: Italian images, culture, identity and Media This course will involve travel to Italy--leaving May 28 until June 5, 2007. Students require permission to register for the class. Class closes February 15, 2007.

In Summer Two 2007:

The School of Arts and Sciences through Liberal Studies and English will offer:

  • L383/D511 STUDIES IN BRITISH or COMMONWEALTH CULTURE/MLS HUMANITIES ELECTIVE
    (3 CR) VT: Shakespeare's Scottish Sources. This course will involve travel to Scotland in Summer II.
