William Mello grew up in Brazil, where he began his trade union activity as a metalworker. After moving to New York and becoming an ironworker, he held positions as shop steward, recording secretary, union staff secretary, and fund manager for Ironworkers Local 455. Mello has served as an instructor in the Labor Studies program at Empire State College-State University of New York, the Apprenticeship Program for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3, and the Department of Liberal Studies at Parsons School of Design, New School University. He joined the Division of Labor Studies in 2003.

Patrick Hill is an Indiana native who began work with the trade union movement as a member of the U.A.W. holding the positions of Education Director and Trustee among others. Patrick has been a union activist in Indiana for 12 years. He has also served as, Vice President of East Central Indiana CLC, and currently serves as Vice President to the Madison County Solidarity Labor Council.

Lynn has been an Indiana resident most of her life, excluding a few brief years of exploring in her twenties. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with an Associates degree in Business and is currently pursuing her Bachelors degree in Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University Kokomo. Lynn has worked in an educational field for 17 years, in positions such as; administrative assistant, admissions specialist, and academic counselor. Her hobbies include biking, gardening, antiquing and old home restoration. Lynn really enjoys working with students and looks forward to assisting them in their academic endeavors.
