Transforming businesses through leadership

KOKOMO, Ind.—How can managers become true leaders of their businesses or organizations?

Learn how in a Leadership Persuasion and Influence workshop offered Friday, April 27, in Logansport by the Cass County Economic Development Corporation and the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University Kokomo. Sessions will run from 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. at 310 Pearl St., Logansport.

Senior and middle level managers and directors in the public and private sectors, health care, government, law enforcement, and nonprofit organizations can benefit from the workshop, said SPEA Assistant Dean Robert Dibie, Ph.D.

SPEA faculty members and other speakers will discuss how leaders can set directions that transform their organizations and mobilize their employees to implement needed change. The workshop will focus on
• Current issues that leaders face
• Visionary leadership potential
• Personal issues of leadership
• The leader as relationship builder and social architect

A Certificate of Completion for the leadership workshop will be awarded to all participants at the end of the program.
