S.U.B. presents film ‘Smokin’ Aces’

KOKOMO, Ind.—Indiana University Kokomo’s Student Union Board (S.U.B.) will present two showings of the crime/action film Smokin’ Aces Wednesday and Thursday, April 18 and 19, at 7 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public. The R-rated film is 108 minutes long and stars Ben Affleck, Jeremy Piven, Andy Garcia, and Ray Liotta.

The Internet Movie Database describes the plot of Smokin’ Aces this way: “When a Las Vegas performer-turned-snitch named Buddy Israel (Piven) decides to turn state’s evidence and testify against the mob, it seems that a whole lot of people would like to make sure he’s no longer breathing.”
