April 15, 2009

KOKOMO, Ind. – Comedienne Alexandra McHale brings her sassy, off-color but never crude, comedy show to the Indiana University Kokomo campus on Tuesday, April 21, at 7 p.m. in the Kelley Student Center Commons. McHale has headlined at more than 300 colleges, appeared on “The Tonight Show” and “The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn.”

There is no admission, and the event, sponsored by the Student Union Board, is open to the public. Persons without campus parking permits should follow signs to visitor parking.

McHale grew up in Connecticut before relocating to New York City where she became a member of the Actor’s Studio. She has studied with many famous actors including Paul Newman and Sally Field.

Besides her bits on late night talk shows, McHale also has been a frequent commentator on VH1’s “I Love the 80’s” and “Supersecret TV Formulas”, as well as Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend.”

Indiana University Kokomo serves a seven county, primary service area in north central Indiana, bringing quality education to area residents. The campus offers more than 40 academic programs, including four graduate degrees.
