Senior adjuncts log 360+ semesters at IU Kokomo

KOKOMO, Ind.—Eleven senior adjunct faculty members have been recognized for teaching 34 or more semesters at Indiana University Kokomo. Honored instructors and their teaching disciplines include: John Baker—Mathematics/Business Mavis Barnett—Public Speaking Gail Beaton—Sociology Richard Beeson—Mathematics Donald Bivens—History Suzanne Carey—English
Randy Hainlen—Criminal Justice They received IU wall clocks at an August 21 dinner, honoring the approximately 85 adjunct faculty members currently teaching at IU Kokomo. Sharon Calhoon, director of the IU Kokomo Center for Teaching Excellence, and Phil Haffley, assistant vice chancellor for academic affairs, coordinated the dinner.
