IU Kokomo seeks large-scale art for campus display

KOKOMO, Ind.—Large-scale works of art are being sought to enhance two of IU Kokomo’s major public spaces. The Facilities Art Committee is seeking paintings, relief sculptures, drawings and textiles pieces that might be displayed in the Kelley Student Center or in Virgil and Elizabeth Hunt Hall, a science laboratory and classroom facility. Ready-to-hang or -display pieces measuring more than 5-foot-by-5-foot are desired. Pieces may be donated to the university’s permanent art collection or may be loaned to the university for a period of 1–3 years. To be considered, artwork must appeal to a diverse population and must be suitable for public display and the specific viewing space. Interested artists should submit slides or photographs of their artwork, along with a self-addressed/stamped envelope to:
