Elementary student art on display at IU Kokomo

KOKOMO, Ind.—With crayon and paintbrush, scissors and glue, young artists have filled the walls of the Indiana University Kokomo Art Gallery, for the
10th Annual Elementary School Exhibition. The show runs December 4–19. Admission to the exhibition and all gallery events is free.
Eleven Howard County schools have submitted artwork, created by pupils in grades 1–6. The students and their art teachers will be honored during the opening reception on Sunday, December 4, from 2–4 p.m. Participating schools and teachers include

The IU Kokomo Art Gallery is located inside the Kelley Student Center. Gallery hours are Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.; Wednesdays, until 8 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays, noon–4 p.m.
The 10th Annual Elementary School Exhibition is funded in part by grants from the City of Kokomo Community Arts Commission, the Tippecanoe Arts Federation, the Indiana Arts Commission, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
