Making Research Relevant: IU Kokomo Students Present at IUURC 2007

The 13th annual Indiana University Undergraduate Research Conference “Making Research Relevant,” was held on November 30, at the IU Southeast Campus located in New Albany, Indiana. Seven IU Kokomo students along with their faculty mentors presented their research projects at the conference. Several of the students did their research with a mentor professor as part of the 2007 Undergraduate Research Summer Institute (URSI).
Students presented in three venues: a morning round-table discussion, the presentation of papers, and in an hour-and-a-half poster session.

The Indiana University Undergraduate Research Conference (IUURC) is dedicated to the promotion of undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity performed in partnership with faculty or other mentors as a vital component of undergraduate education at Indiana University. The conference is open to all disciplines: visual and performing arts, humanities, natural and physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, business, economics, education, and nursing.
