Sip coffee with Spanish accent at IU Kokomo

KOKOMO, Ind.—The public is welcome to an International Coffee Hour Tuesday, February 24, at IU Kokomo. The informal gathering will explore Spanish-speaking cultures, while offering guests an opportunity to converse and sample typical foods of Hispanic countries. Running from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Havens Room, the event is hosted by the International Student Organization, the Office of Campus Climate, and the International Women of Kokomo. Future coffee hours are planned, looking at other cultures and customs representing the countries of origin of the host groups’ members. Persons interested in attending on February 24 are asked to RSVP to (765) 455-9359, no later than February 20.
