  Brochure outlines campus resources for business

KOKOMO, Ind.—In addition to its more than 30 degree programs, Indiana University Kokomo offers and “people power, ” programs and services—many at no cost—to help build the quality of life and business in the campus’ 11-county service area. A new brochure, “We Mean Business, ” is now available from IU Kokomo, outlining campus resources of benefit to businesses in north central Indiana.

“We Mean Business” describes dozens of education and training options aimed at maximizing business knowledge. The School of Business offers a B.S. in Business with five concentrations—Accounting, e-Business, Finance and Economics, Management and Human Resources, and Marketing and Distribution. Designed with the working professional in mind, an M.B.A. from IU Kokomo gives graduates a background in the effective management of the business resources that drive today’s global economy.

Do your employees need to hone specific skills? Read about customized workshops that can be conducted on campus or at your site. Starting a new business? Through the Certificate in Contemporary Entrepreneurship program, you will learn basic business principles, while the Industrial Research Liaison Program office can help you apply for small business grants from the federal government.

• Job posting and intern placement through the Office of Career Services

• Research assistance from the IU Kokomo Library
