Prankster magician brings tricks to Kresge

February 5, 2007

KOKOMO, Ind.—Forget the lame rabbit-out-of-a-hat trick. Frank the Magician has more amazing illusions in mind for his performance at Indiana University Kokomo on Thursday, February 8. The public is invited to the 7 p.m. show in Kresge Auditorium. Content is suited for an audience of high school age and older. Admission is free.

On his Web site, www.frankthemagician.com, Frank describes his performing style as “one part indy rocker, one part corny comedian, and one part prankster.” Other than the card tricks he loves, Frank avoids traditional magic tricks, in favor of conjuring “extraordinary things with ordinary objects.”

Frank the Magician has performed for more than a decade, including stints with the Bindlestiff Family Circus, The Grim Brothers Sideshow, and Six Flags amusement parks.

This event is sponsored by the Student Union Board, mpglassb@iuk.edu.
