Take charge of your health at Wellness Fair

KOKOMO, Ind.—Stop hibernating and find out how to take control of your health at the second annual Wellness Fair Tuesday, February 27, at Indiana University Kokomo.

The Multicultural Student Organization and the Office of Campus Climate are sponsoring the fair, which features free medical screenings and information provided by area health care and fitness providers. Open to the campus and public, the fair runs 10 a.m.–2 p.m. in the Kelley Student Center. Admission is free.

Exhibitors and their offerings at the 2007 Wellness Fair include
• Central Indiana Eye Institute: Eye/vision screening
• Dentists Delivering Smiles: Dental service for people without insurance
• Howard County Health Department: HIV/AIDS testing and information
• Howard Regional Health System: Behavior and stress management information
• Indiana State Department of Health Osteoporosis Program: Bone density testing
• Martin Center: Sickle cell, glucose, and blood pressure screenings
• Power House Gym: Body mass index measurement
• Project Access: Health care services for people without insurance
• St. Vincent Health St. Joseph Hospital: Sleep disorders and asthma information
