“Sicko” was directed by Michael Moore, whose other credits include “Fahrenheit 9/11” and “Bowling for Columbine”. In 2007, “Sicko” was a New York Times Critics’ Pick. Of this movie, Newsweek states, “The globe-trotting Moore compares our broken system with the free health care offered by Canada, France, England and—in what has already become his most controversial flourish—Cuba...” (http://www.newsweek.com/id/33447). A Time magazine review states, “He's latched onto an issue that affects more Americans more directly than gun violence or Islamic terrorism.” (http://movies.nytimes.com/2007/ 06/22/movies/ 22sick.html).
