Scholarships deadline approaching for Indiana University Kokomo

KOKOMO, Ind. – The deadline is fast approaching for scholarships available at Indiana University Kokomo for fall semester.
In order to be considered for any scholarship, new students must be admitted to IU Kokomo by March 1, 2009, and continuing students must be registered for fall classes by April 1, 2009. Students are also encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online by March 10, 2009.
IU Kokomo awards more than 400 scholarships annually to qualified students. Many of these scholarships are still available and are open to all incoming students.
For Tipton County students, The Kelley Scholarship, established in 1995, recognizes an outstanding Tipton County high school senior graduating from Tipton or Tri-Central High School who plans to enroll at IU Kokomo. This prestigious award is a four-year, full-tuition scholarship.
In addition, there are scholarships available specifically for Miami County students.
