Council president Bob Hayes profiled on IU half-time show Wednesday

KOKOMO, Ind.—In his role as an Indiana University Kokomo alumnus, Robert Hayes, the president of the Kokomo City Council, will appear on the half-time show of an IU basketball game broadcast Wednesday, January 26. Starting at 9 p.m. on ESPN, the game features the Hoosiers playing the University of Minnesota. In Kokomo, viewers will also be able to catch the broadcast on local Channel 4 (WB). During the pre-recorded half-time show, Hayes will speak about the ties between his college degree and his community involvement today. Hayes earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree through IU's Kokomo campus in 1995. He has been active with the IU Kokomo Alumni Association Board for several years. Hayes is employed as a business line supply management specialist with Delphi Electronics and Safety.
