By late July, Art Gallery Director Minda Douglas reported more than 300 entries for the 2003 Regional. “This far exceeds the 132 entries we received for the 2001 exhibition.,” Douglas said. “It should prove to be a fabulous display of works from our local artists.” Entrants include artists from Camden, Indianapolis, Arcadia, Anderson, Noblesville, Tipton, Kokomo, Carmel, West Lafayette, Cicero, Plainfield, Marion, Peru and Beech Grove, according to Douglas. Juror Charles Gick will select works for the exhibition on August 4. The show will run through September 18. The IU Kokomo Art Gallery is located inside the Kelley Student Center.
