IU Kokomo, Purdue advisors attend state conference

KOKOMO, Ind.—Four IU Kokomo staff members attended the Indiana Academic Advising Network (IAAN) state conference, held May 16, on the Purdue University North Central campus in Westville. They were Christal Atkins and Carolyn Hildebrandt, advisors in University Division; Joan Hoch, undergraduate advisor in the School of Business; and Charlotte Miller, coordinator of education and student resources in the Division of Education. Hoch is the current IAAN secretary, and Miller serves as chair of Membership Committee. Stacy Nowak, student services coordinator for the Purdue University School of Technology at Kokomo, also attended the conference.
IAAN brings together professionals from colleges and universities concerned with the intellectual, personal and career or vocational advising needs of Indiana students. IAAN fosters the personal and professional development of its members by promoting quality academic advising around the state.
