IU Kokomo Gallery accepting entries for Regional Exhibition

KOKOMO, Ind.—Artists living within 70 miles of Kokomo are invited to submit original works for the IU Kokomo Art Gallery’s Biennial Regional Exhibition, August 17–September 18. Assistant Professor of Visual and Performing Arts Charles Gick of Purdue University will serve as juror, selecting works for the show. Gick will also determine cash awards worth $1,000 for the first-, second-, and third-place works. Entries may include paintings, drawings, graphic arts, photos, mixed media, clay, glass, and sculptures. Works must have been completed within the last two years. Artists whose works are accepted for exhibition may offer their art for sale during the show, with the Gallery retaining 30 percent of the sale price.

Application may also be made online at www.iuk.edu/artgallery/regional%20exhibition.html. The completed application and $15 entry fee (covering up to two entries) must be submitted by July 25.
