Water Conservation Presentation at IU Kokomo rescheduled for Tuesday, March 18!

Kokomo, Indiana—Neal Bennett, formerly scheduled to speak at Indiana University Kokomo’s Green Week, has agreed to give his presentation titled “From Rooftops to Rivers” on Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium. He will be speaking about new water technologies for the home, community, and industry. Co-sponsored by the Student Government Association, Student Union Board, and American Democracy Project, this evening’s event is free and open to the public.

Neal Bennett is Environmental Scientist for Butler, Fairman, and Seufert, Inc. Civil Engineers. He is a native of Kokomo who earned a B.S. in Biology from Ball State

University, worked as a habitat restoration ecologist for the National Park Service at several parks including Yosemite and Joshua Tree. Currently, Neal performs ecological assessments for several large projects including new highways, bridges, greenways, site developments and wastewater treatment facilities throughout Indiana. Neal is a state qualified professional in NEPA, wetland delineation, waterway permitting, and wetland and stream design. Neal is also a Board Member of Green Broad Ripple, a non-profit organization created to promote sustainable design criterion for future development in Indianapolis.
