Registration open for Old Ben 5K Run/Walk

KOKOMO, Ind. – Register now to participate in the 24th Annual Old Ben 5K Run/Walk, set to take place Saturday, March 14, at Highland Park in Kokomo. Proceeds will benefit the Indiana University Kokomo Alumni Association Student Scholarship Endowment Fund.
Pre-registration deadline is Friday, March 6, and the registration fee is $12; however, participants may register the day of the race from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. at Rodger's Pavilion for a $15 fee. The first 200 participants to register will receive a free race T-shirt.
The run/walk begins at 9 a.m. and will be followed by an awards ceremony around 10 a.m. Winners in the following categories will be recognized: Top Male/Female Overall – 5K Run; Top Male/Female Individual – 5K Walk; Top Male/Female Individual – all age divisions.
Age divisions for the race are as follows: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over. Age divisions for the walk are as follows: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and over.

The Old Ben 5K Run/Walk is presented by St. Vincent Health: St. Joseph Physical and Sports Therapy. Other sponsors include IU Credit Union, Club Kokomo Roadrunners, City of Kokomo Parks and Recreation, and the Kokomo Tribune.
