Trustee Teaching Awards conferred

KOKOMO, Ind.—Seven Indiana University Kokomo faculty members have won Trustees’ Teaching Awards for 2003. The annual awards recognize excellence in teaching; academic chairs or deans nominated award candidates. Recipients for 2003 include: Mayur Desai, Ph.D., associate professor of Management Information Systems Raghu Gompa, Ph.D., professor of Mathematics Sue Hendricks, Ed.D., associate professor of Nursing Kathy Parkison, Ph.D., associate professor of Economics David Rink, Ph.D., professor of Marketing Barbara Sehr, senior lecturer in Mathematics Margo Sorgman, Ed.D., professor of Education
Award winners will receive a $2,500 award from Indiana University and will be recognized during the campus’ fall convocation.
